Progress on Important Fronts

Greetings, comrades.

First, a question for you: if you could have a conversation about an important topic with an important person in your life, and that conversation ends up having the best possible outcome, what would that do for your relationship, and for your life?

 

Onto Ugeddit, here’s the progress we’ve been making on important fronts

  1. We’re about 80% through setting up our MacOS development environment. We have to do this because Apple requires people to do everything on a Mac otherwise it’s near impossible to do basic tasks such as changing 1 thing about our iOS app’s configuration. Until we solve this, we can’t automatically update to the app store and show you all the fixes and features we make, so we’re working on solving this soon
  2. I had conversations with 3 specific people who are helping us out in important ways
    1. A good friend is reaching out to his full stack developer contacts for an ideal person who understands the value in helping people communicate and understand each other better (for them, for us, and for the world) to potentially work with us at Ugeddit
    2. A new friend I met this week is offering to help and said they’d contact me with ideas on areas they’re comfortable contributing towards to bring us forward
    3. I spoke with a representative of NRC IRAP (for funding) and we set up a line of communication to find a good fit, which will help us support team members like developers, marketers, and more

Once we have the MacOS setup working, we’ll be able to change that 1 configuration which will let us properly set up our CI/CD pipeline to automatically update the app store with every change we make to our app based on your advice.

An expert full stack developer will help us develop the app most likely 10x faster (or more) with their rapid familiarity and experience with the complex elements of designing and scaling a digital communication platform.

With funding, we’ll be able to more easily support that full stack developer (and other key team members) to accelerate us towards revenue-generation which will give us more freedom to focus on creating what helps people the most
