Learning AWS Costs

It’s been quite challenging learning about Amazon Web Services and all it’s internals, services, usage reports, and more. We recently had a scare of maxing out our Simple Storage Service (S3) free tier usage which we think we’ve resolved. We were also a bit too micromanagy looking at our Elastic Compute Cloud (EC2) usage and questioning every single log entry, what it is and if it’s supposed to be there, but luckily we got advice from Jamie Leon, a cloud operations engineer who has been generous with his time helping us work through the panic attacks we had about the above, and helped us keep calm, and moving on. Thank you, Jamie! We appreciate your time and help!

  4. Today, I went to the beach with my children. I found a sea
shell and gave it to my 4 year old daughter and said “You can hear the ocean if you put this to your ear.” She placed the shell to her ear and screamed.
There was a hermit crab inside and it pinched her ear.
She never wants to go back! LoL I know this is totally off topic but I had to tell someone!
