Completing Conversations Released!

It’s done! You can get release #8 on Google Play as a Ugeddit alpha tester! If you’re part of our alpha yet, you can join our Discord channel to get in.

Now, you’re able to request completion of conversations if you’re the creator and if there’s at least one other participant.

When that happens, all participants will be asked if they agree to complete the convo, or if they still have something to chat about.

You can complete the conversation anytime, using the floating checkmark button.

Once everyone is confirmed, the conversation is completed and you’re brought back to the main chat, having closure and knowing that conversation is done.

And if you ever want to continue or add onto that conversation, you can always create another one, anytime.

What’s next

Your advice is needed. That’s right; we do have tasks we’re thinking of fixing, but we need to know what you think our app is doing well vs not well in terms of helping people understand each other better online.

When you use Ugeddit, what are you expecting it to (ideally) do? Is it doing that for you? And what can be different about it that will make it better?

Once you share your ideas around these, we weigh them against our values and mission to make sure they align well, and let you know what we decide to do. If your idea aligns well, we will likely implement it, and if you want, we can even attach your name to it and permanently make you one of the creators or contributors of the feature!

Do you want to help? Do you know others who may want to help? Let us know!
